Why does copying another item obliterate the previous one?

So why isn’t it standard?
This is why they’re not available on your phone.
The iPhone is super strict about letting apps keep running.
There’s a security issue here.
If you do install one, you have to verify you absolutely trust its developer.
After all, you already trust them with all your data anyway.
But it doesn’t look like this is happening.
For laptop users, that’s never been a problem.
you’re free to install what you like.
But for mobile users, you’ve been out of luck.
