Microsoft no longer supports Internet Explorer and recommends that you update to the newerEdge web app.
Head to their site todownload the newest version.
IE Temporary Internet Files Location
Internet Explorer has a default location where temporary internet files are stored.

Replace[username]in the folder locations with your Windows username.
These locations display temporary internet files and files downloaded from the web.
However, if you don’t see these folders, it’s possible that they’ve been changed.

Temporary internet files are different fromweb surfing app cookiesand are stored in a separate folder.
Also, temporary internet files in Internet Explorer are not the same as thetemporary files in Windows.

Use one of these methods to openInternet Options:
Select theGeneraltab, then go to theBrowsing historysection and selectSettings.
Select theTemporary Internet Filestab to access more options to deal with temp files in Internet Explorer.

Another option you’re free to change is how much storage space is allowed for temporary internet files.
you might change the folder in which IE keeps temporary internet files.
To do that, selectMove folderand then choose which folder to use for temp files.
The other buttons on this screen are for viewing the objects and files that IE has stored.
