Instead, it will use a lighter compression rate.
This is just one of many new features WhatsApp is testing.
Previously, it introducedsecure cloud backupsto the Android version of its messaging app.
The messaging giant is also testingmulti-machine sync support, another feature that the community has been asking for.
It’s unclear when the quality options will make the jump to the stable release of WhatsApp.
