In options > General is your iPad’s model and age.

When Apple releases an update or an accessory, they specify which iPad models and generations are eligible.
That isnt any help if you dont remember which one you own.

Open theSettingsapp, then tapGeneral.
The generation is listed next toModel Name.
Some iPad models, like the iPad Pro 11, dont include a generation number beside the model name.

The date your iPad was sold is listed in YYYY-MM-DD format.
