The OnePlus Watch 3 offers many of the same features that you’ll find in other watches.
Would the quality be as good as the phone?
Would it be as comfortable to wear as my Apple Watch was?

I spent some time getting to know the Watch 3 pretty well.
Here’s what I found.

The watch case is stainless steel and comes in black or silver.
Finally, the OnePlus Watch 3 is available with either an Obsidian Titanium or Emarld Titanium band.
Don’t let the “Titanium” naming fool you, though; these are textured silicone bands.
Military Grade Durability
OnePlus’s big push this year seems to be durability.
The sapphire crystal face is rated 8+ on the Mohs Hardness Scale.
To put that into perspective, diamonds rate 10 on that scale.
From personal experience, I can say the OnePlus Watch 3 face is more durable than my Apple Watch.
That durability does come at a price, though.
This watch is much bigger than I would typically choose to wear.
It took a little getting used to.
Watch 3 also has Military Grade Testing Certification against high and low temperatures.
GPS is also improved.
A gentle vibration at my wrist reminds me to get up and move around every so often.
OnePlus has added professional-level tracking enhancements on some modes for pro athletes who need accurate information.
OnePlus’s new Wrist Temperature Sensor is just one of the additions.
Unfortunately, due to difficulty getting FDA certification, ECG tracking will not be available in the US.
I’ve found that to be fairly accurate.
That means I can travel without carrying yet another charger unless I’m going on a long trip.
