The Echo Input doesn’t work withWi-Fi speakers.
It connects wirelessly to Bluetooth speakers.
(You may need a 3.5 mm-to-RCA cable converter.)
It can also communicate with and control other Echo and Fire TV devices.
The Echo Input doesn’t have volume controls.
Instead, use Alexa to control the volume in conjunction with the volume controls on your speaker system.
Plug the Echo Input intoAC power using the provided adapter.

TapYesif your Echo Input is plugged in and displays an orange light.
Select your Echo Input, then follow the prompts to connect the rig to Wi-Fi.
You’ll see a confirmation message that the Echo Input is connected.
You may have to drop your web link password.

If you select Bluetooth, follow the prompts for pairing the Bluetooth speaker to the Echo Input.
Your Echo Input is ready for action.
Reset an Echo Input
If the Echo Input becomes unresponsive, reset it.
The Echo Input is best used with powered speakers and audio systems that can be left on.
If you want one, your best bet may be a site like eBay.
They can also connect to a speaker via Bluetooth.
