It works to control your music and in some other apps, too.

With this information, it candetect your wrist movements and translate those into taps on the gear.
The double tap gesture wasn’t the onlyfeature released in the watchOS 10.1 update.
The new NameDrop feature, which lets you exchange contact information using your Watch, also dropped.
A few other minor tweaks and some bug fixes were also included in the update.
You’ll need to be runningiOS 17, though, so if necessary,tune up your iPhone first.
