Tap the FaceTime app icon to launch it.
If don’t see it,download it from the App Store for free.
TapNew FaceTimeat the top of the menu.
An internet connection is required to make FaceTime calls.
While only Apple devices can trigger a call, aFaceTime linkcan be created to call other devices.
They will all ring when a FaceTime call comes to that email address.
Apple has provided a workaround for using FaceTime on different devices connected to the same Apple Account.
bring up the iPad’s Settingsapp by tapping it on the Home Screen.
On the left-side menu, scroll down and tapFaceTime.
In the middle of the FaceTime prefs is a section calledYou Can Be Reached By Facetime At.
Check the phone number or email address you want to use when using the unit.
For example, one person can use the email address, and the other can use the phone number.
