I have a second 27-inch display, so I thought I knew what to expect.

That’s why I was slightly surprised when I pulled Dell’s version out of the box.
For starters, they shipped it in a few pieces that had to be put together.
Not a big deal.

But then I set it up on the desk.

I was surprised by the tall stand that came with it.
The Dell S2725DS sits a full 6.5 inches above my desktop.
I thought I was going to hate it.

I don’t hate it.
It’s a QHD monitor, so the picture is stunning.
In fact, when side-by-side my other 27-inch monitor, I can really see how much better it is.

And while the color and brightness of the screen is very good, the sound is also great.
Not a super big deal to me, but that might be an issue for some.
This one is a 4K UHD webcam that has some pretty interesting mounting capabilities.

The Dell Peripheral Manager will also let you control how tightly to frame your image and many other options.
I was impressed by the headphones on appearance alone.
But let’s talk about how smart the Dell wireless headphones are.
First, there’s general AI-enhanced control.
When you settle the headphones back into place, everything resumes as normal.
But my favorite feature is the AI-enhanced ANC.
I was able to work through things like robot vacuums and people talking without being disturbed.
Is This Dell Home Office Setup Worth It?
So let’s talk price.
The Dell 27-inch S2725DS monitor, in QHD, is $220.
They all are well-made, have great features, and really do look stunning in my home office setup.
These all just seem built to last, with great features and beautiful designs.
You could do a whole lot worse for the same cost.
