Im a fan of action films.

Thats wherethe Bose Solo Soundbar Series IIcomes in.

The hardest part of finding what I wanted was the sizeand decent sound.

Bose Solo Soundbar Series II

Nearly every home theater brand offers a soundbar now.

Some of them are really good.

Some, not so much.

But most of them are big… 30-inches or more big.

(Its because the average size of a TV is larger, but more about that shortly.)

When I found this soundbar, I got all kinds of excited.

Might as well give it a shot, right?

Turns out, its way simpler than I expected.

Out of the box, the Bose Solo Soundbar is beautiful.

The Bose Solo Soundbar Series II

Its all sleek and black… and little.

Just 21.5 inches long and less than 3 tall.

Even I can do that.

My next fear, though, was getting it to work with my TV.

Turns out, that, too, was much ado about nothing.

Another thing that even I could do!

Is a Little Soundbar Really Useful?

Heres where we get to sound.

I have had a larger soundbar attached to this TV.

But this little Bose sounds equally great to me.

The volume the Solo Series II produces is more than sufficient for my needs.

For my purposes, the Solo Series II does exactly what I want it to.

I like the Dialogue Mode so much that I use it whenever Im watching TV.

But Bose Is Expensive, Right?

My last requirement was something affordable, and there are plenty of other options that meet that requirement.

Some are pretty inexpensive.

And Bose is typically known for being a luxury brand.

But they do offer some more affordable options, and the Solo Series II is one of those options.

It met all my requirements, and finally, I can hear the dialog on whatever Im watching.

Whats that they say about having your cake and eating it, too?
