What Is the Fitbit Aria?
Up to eight individuals can use the same Fitbit Aria scale.
Fitbit
An iOS, Android, or Windows 10 rig is highly recommended.
The methods for setting up a first-generation Fitbit Aria and the Fitbit Aria 2 are almost identical.
The only difference will be the additional options given to Fitbit Aria 2 owners for selecting user icons.
Fitbit
The Aria 2 will turn on automatically.
Place your Fitbit Aria on a wooden or tiled floor.
bring up the Fitbit app on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
If you’re not logged in, you will be prompted to do so.
You will also be offered the chance to create a Fitbit account if you don’t have one.
see to it that your equipment’s Bluetooth is turned on.
This will take you to an accounts and devices options page.
SelectSet Up a unit.
The next screen will show a list of Fitbit devices.
Find your Aria model on the list and select it.
If you’re unsure which model you own, check the underside of the equipment.
A first-generation Fitbit Aria will have a bumpy underside while the Aria 2 will be smooth.
You will then see a summary screen of the gear.
SelectSet Up Your Fitbit Aria 2 (or Aria)to continue.
The next screen will show links to usage and privacy policies.
Feel free to read them and then chooseI Agree.
The app will then search for your Fitbit Aria automatically.
Enter the code in the app to link this specific scale to your Fitbit account.
SelectNextto begin the process.
The Fitbit app will show a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
drop your Wi-Fi password and chooseConnect.
In the app, selectNextto continue.
Select your preferred icon and then click onSelect.
This step will not show for first-generation Fitbit Aria owners.
The Fitbit app will then show you some tips for using the Aria scale.
SelectNextto proceed through the tips.
The Fitbit app will eventually request that you perform a test weigh.
Remove your shoes and socks and step on the Aria.
You will then see some further Fitbit Aria tips.
SelectNextto progress through these screens and finish the setup process.
If this happens, step off the scale and then use one foot to tap on the relevant side.
opt for left to let Aria 2 know that it detected the wrong account.
jump in to your Fitbit account or create a new one by entering your email and a unique password.
The program will then ask you to name your Aria scale.
you might call it anything you want.
put in your name for it and selectNext.
You will then place your scale inSetup Mode.
To do so, remove the paper slip that’s in the battery door of the Fitbit Aria.
The Aria’s display will tell you it’s in Setup Mode if done correctly.
In the program, drop your Wi-Fi internet’s name and password.
This can take up to two minutes to complete.
