Easily share large fles

Emailing large files may not be possible through a standard file attachment.

Google Drive and Gmail are the perfect duo for this.

The process is similar, but not exactly the same assending a regular file attachment in Gmail.

Drag files here or Select files fromyour device dialog in Google Drive via Gmail

These directions apply to Gmail on computers, phones, and tablets.

There are alsoP2P file-sharing techniquesthat don’t have a file size cap.

If you uploaded the file to Google Drive, select it while you’re composing the email.

When composing the email from theGmail website, snag the Google Drive icon from the bottom toolbar.

To upload the file right now, select theUploadtab and chooseSelect files from your unit.

Or, after you upload the first file, selectAdd more filesto choose others to send.

SelectUploadorInsertif you’re selecting existing files.

Browse or search for the file you want to send through Gmail from Google Drive.

Repeat the first two steps to add more files.

Finish composing the email if you gotta, then selectSend.

Scroll down to theDrivesection and pick the file you want to send via Gmail.

Someone needs access to the file prompt in Gmail

Tap the arrow to search and browse for files.

Repeat these steps to add more files.
