Just about all of the wireless Xbox 360 instruments are compatible withRock Band 4on Xbox One.

Most wired instruments, like the originalRock Banddrums and guitar or theGuitar Hero 2controller, are not compatible.

Any wired USB microphone released with previousRock Bandgames will work.

You do not need the legacy adapter to sync microphones.

Plug the legacy game controller adapter into the console.

Simultaneously hold down thesync buttonon the legacy adapter and the smallwireless buttonon your instrument for about two seconds.
