For one, the Thunderbolt/USB-C ports are soldered to the main circuit board.

If you don’t know what thermal paste is, that’s the exact reason right there.

These, unlike the Lenovos, were designed from the very beginning for repair and are almost absurdly modular.

That’s clearly the way to go for the best experience for upgrades and customization.

It’s pretty great seeing the look on somebody’s face after they manage this.

We don’t think twice about changing a lightbulb or the batteries in a remote.
