The instructions here apply to Thunderbird version 68 but should be similar in other recent versions.

ClickViewin the menu bar at the top of the screen.
If you don’t see a menu bar, pressAlt+Vto display it.
SelectFoldersfrom the drop-down menu.
Should you decide not to use the unified view, selectView>Folders>Allfrom the menu bar.
