Google has begun rolling out a substantial update for itsBard AI chatbot.

Starting today, the search giant is introducing a feature calledBard Extensions.

At the same time, it allows Bard to field more complicated questions than ever.

“We’re committed to protecting your personal information.

Separately, Google is adding a double-check feature that allows users to ask Bard to verify its answers.

If Bard finds information that contradicts a section of its response, it will highlight that passage in orange.

Conversely, statements that are supported by what it found will be highlighted in green.

Either way, tapping a highlighted phrase allows the user to learn more about what Bard found.

Both features are rolling out now to English-speaking users.

Google is also expanding the availability of Bard’s existing feature set to more than 40 languages.
