They just announced anew platform called MyFree DIRECTV, set to launch on November 15.
The company looks like it’s positioning this DIRECTV streaming service as more than just a freebie.
They could be hoping to use this free service to upsell viewers to their paid offerings.
It will offer various content, including sports, entertainment, kids and family programming, and news.
They plan to expand their channel lineup throughout next year and beyond.
It will be interesting to see how MyFree DIRECTV fares in the already crowded streaming space.
