throw in WhatsApp in the Search box on the top left and pressReturn.
When you seeWhatsApp Messengerin the list of results, select it.
Optionally review the description and chooseGetto download the app to your Mac.

slide in your password, or use Touch/Face ID, to authorize the download if prompted.
Open theDownloadsfolder for the web net net app youre using and opt for WhatsApp installer file.
When the installer opens, drag theWhatsAppicon to theApplicationsfolder icon.

wrap up the installer window if necessary.
Then, follow the steps below.
OpenWhatsAppon your mobile phone and tapMenuorSettingsat the bottom, depending on your rig.

TapLink a Deviceand grant camera access if prompted.
Open theApplicationsfolder on your Mac and selectWhatsAppto launch the app.
ClickGet Startedon the WhatsApp welcome screen.

Youll see a QR code along with instructions to capture the code.
Use your mobile equipment to capture the QR code in the WhatsApp window on your Mac.
you’ve got the option to then close WhatsApp on your mobile gadget.

Choose how you would like to see notifications for WhatsApp on your Mac by enabling the toggles and selectingDone.
Youll then see the main WhatsApp screen where you might start communicating with your contacts.

Menu items are grayed out if they arent applicable at the time.

For example, if youre on the WhatsApp Calls tab, the Chat menu actions are unavailable.
