It’s definitely become my go-to “chill out” game.

Like most farming sims, the game has an over-arching story to help inform gameplay.

I don’t play these games for the plotline, though.

I play them for the flow state they can get me into.

The latter, though, have to be approached slowly so as not to startle them.

You’ll do the same crouching sneak walk when you meet a wild animal out in the world.

The game really encourages exploration, too.

Hit the circle button on the PS5 controller and a bunch of areas are highlighted on your mini-map.

Pretty unobtrusive, for sure, but avoiding it becomes its own reward.

The music, however, is pretty forgettable with its repetitive, bland 12-bar blues-esque motifs.

I turned that off fairly quickly and just streamed from Spotify instead.
