The OnePlus 13 may well be that phone, and I’m seriously considering replacing my iPhone with it.

OnePlus' new 13 isn’t a secret.

What might surprise you, though, is the quality of this phone.

Here’s how that went, and why this just might be my favorite phone going forward.

OnePlus 13The Basics

Let’s get the specs out of the way.

The OnePlus 13 has a 6000 mAh battery, which supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The battery also lasts about 17 hours of use time.

Finally, there’s the Hasselblad camera system.

There are so many features here that it’s hard to know where to start.

Remember those unusual tests I mentioned?

It works just fine.

Even when it was scorching hot.

That’s because the OnePlus 13 has both an IP68 and IP69 rating.

IP68 is for water resistance.

IP69 is for water jet and high-temperature water resistance.

The phone is sealed against leaks.

It helps to keep the phone operational, even when it’s heated up.

Beating up on this phone didn’t stop with trying to waterlog it, though.

The phone still looks brand new.

The self-healing screen is scratch and fingerprint-resistant.

The leather-like (it’s actually Microfiber Vegan Leather) back cover doesn’t scratch and doesn’t stain.

I abused this phone.

Short of taking a hammer to it, Itriedto damage it.

And it withstood everything I put it through, even without a case.

So Much More

There’s so much more to this OnePlus flagship phone.

OnePlus seems to have put a ton of thought into how to make the OnePlus 13 your go-to phone.

And that’s before we even get into the features of OxygenOS 15.

Is the OnePlus 13 Phone Worth It?

The OnePlus 13 smartphone with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage starts at $900.

you’re able to upgrade to 16GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for $1000.

For the durability alone, I’d say this phone is absolutely worth the investment.

That by itself has convinced me to replace my iPhone with the OnePlus 13.

All the other features are just icing on the cake.
