These instructions apply to iTunes 12 and later.
Select thedeviceicon that’s located at the top of the sidebar.
In theOptionssection, select theSync only checked songs and videoscheck box.
SelectDoneto save the setting.
Place a checkmark next to the name of any song you want to transfer to your iOS mobile machine.
Remove the checkmark next to the names of songs you don’t want to sync to your iOS gadget.
All the songs in between will get checkmarks.
Return to theSummarypage for your equipment and selectSyncto update the music.
Open iTunes and connect your iOS gadget to your gear.
Click thedeviceicon in the iTunes left sidebar.
From theSettingssection for the gadget, selectMusicto kick off the Sync Music screen.
ChooseSelected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.
Select all items you want to sync with your iOS machine.
you could sync playlists, artists, genres, or albums.
ChooseApplyto make the changes and transfer your selections.
To manage multiple devices, only sync certain playlists to each unit.
