Reddit user Seby9123 allegedly purchased two processors for $610 each and posted photos of the packaging they received.
The processor comes in blue packaging, and the unit, itself, is enclosed in a gold disc.
The packing posted by Seby9123 matches the exact packaging that wasleaked at the beginning of this month.
The Verge reportsthat a retail listing from Micro Center also leaked the specs of the chip.
The listing also details a thermal power of 125W, support for DDR5 memory, and PCIe Gen 5.
Intel is expected to launch the Core i9-12900K processor during itsevent on Thursday, October 28.
Shipping for the processors is expected to begin on November 4, but that has not yet been confirmed.
An Acer executive previously said that customers could expect thechip shortage to last into the second quarter of 2022.
