However, the fingerprint lock feature only works on devices running Android 6.0 and later.
To turn that feature on, take these actions.
Scroll down and tapScreen Lock.
Use the toggle switch to turn onRequire Face ID.
Choose how quickly you want the lock to engage.
TapImmediately,After 1 minute,After 15 minutes, orAfter 1 hour.
To turn off the WhatsApp lock, simply return to this screen and toggleRequire Face IDoff.
To set it up, stick to this.
Tap thethree vertical dot menuat the top right.
Scroll to the bottom and tapFingerprint lock.
Tap theUnlock with fingerprinttoggle switch to unlock the feature.
To kill the fingerprint lock, simply tap theUnlock with fingerprinttoggle switch to turn it off.
Touch the fingerprint sensor to confirm.
Choose the amount of time you want before the fingerprint lock engages.
