Search the App Store for “Kindle.”

The official Kindle app is the first result.

ClickGetand thenInstallto download and install it.

ClickOpenon the Kindle app in the App Store or go to theApplicationsfolder and hit theKindleapp.

When you open Kindle, it prompts you to key in your Amazon credentials.

You only have to do this step once.

In the upper-left corner is a window containing options for finding and organizing your library.

By default, it opens on theAllbutton.

To create a new Collection, click theplus sign.

To make a new collection, select that option and key in a name for it.

you could even read the first chapter for free.

After you check out, Amazon asks you if you want to download the book to your Kindle gear.

If you don’t see the book in your Kindle app, press theSynciconto refresh and collect your book.

Go to the Kindle Cloud Reader site and type your Amazon login credentials.

Your library appears, where you nudge the book you want to read.

To download a book for offline reading, right-click it and selectDownload & Pin Bookfrom the menu.
