How Do Hulu Parental Controls Work?

Hulu allows you to create separate profiles for each person who watches on your account.

Go to Hulu.com and log in to your account.

Shows rated R or TV-MA don’t show up in a Hulu kids profile.

Select your name in the upper-right corner, then selectManage Profiles.

Enter a name for the profile, then grab the toggle switch underKidsand set it to theOnposition.

Select your name in the top-right corner, then select Manage Accounts.

Hulu asks you who’s watching the next time you access.

launch the Hulu app and chooseAccount.

Select your profile name.

Open the Hulu app and tap Account.

Enter a name for the profile, then toggle the switch besideKidsand set it to theOnposition.

Go to your Hulu account management page and select thepencilicon next to the profile.

Select the toggle switch under Kids and set it to the Off position.

Enter a birth date, then selectSave Changes.

Under Parental Controls, toggle onPIN Protection.

Enter a birth date and select Save Changes.

Enter a 4-digit code and selectCreate PIN.

Limitations of Hulu Parental Controls

Hulu’s parental controls are not as extensive asparental controls for Netflix.
