These instructions apply to macOS 10.12 and above, but BlueStacks recommends 10.13 or newer for the best experience.
When the download finishes, open theBlueStacks installer.
Double click theBlueStacks installericon.
If prompted for permission to launch the installer, clickOpen.
If prompted, input your macOS username and password and clickInstall Helper.
If you are presented with a System Extension Blocked popup, clickOpen Security & Privacy.
you might also proceed by clickingApple>Preferences>Security & Privacy.
You wont need to restart at this point if you have macOS 10.15 Catalina or earlier.
If you have macOS 11 Big Sur and dont see this message, you will need to restart manually.
The Restart button will appear in the same place you saw the Allow button earlier.
Wait for your Mac to restart.
When it finishes, BlueStacks will be ready to use.
Instead of tapping icons and buttons, you use your trackpad or mouse to click them.
Heres how to use BlueStacks on your Mac:
Launch BlueStacks.
Depending on the performance of your Mac, it may take a while for BlueStacks to load.
drop your Google account password and clickNext.
Click thePlay Storeicon on the emulated Android desktop.
Click thesearch field, and bang out the name of the Android app you want to use.
Once you find an app you want, clickinstall.
When the app finishes downloading, clickOpen.
BlueStacks will automatically switch into portrait orientation for games that require it.
If you launch multiple apps, theyll all be accessible via thetabsat the top of the screen.
From the desktop, tap thewhite circular iconat the bottom center to access your app drawer.
From the app drawer, you might quickly access all of your apps, thesearchfunction, andsystem controls.
BlueStacks provides the same system configs as an actual Android gear.

BlueStacks recommend using macOS 10.13 or newer; versions older than 10.12 dont support BlueStacks at all.
If you dont upgrade, you wont be able to run BlueStacks.
