How Do I Use My Amazon Echo Dot as a Speaker?
Tap the playlist you want to listen to fromAmazon Musicor scroll down to select other options likelocal radio.
Once selected, tapEnable to Use.
Once the account is linked, you will see a confirmation in the Alexa app.
To use your desired music streaming service, say Alexa, play Pandora or Alexa, play Spotify.
check that the machine you want to connect is within Bluetooth range and its Bluetooth is enabled.
Ask Alexa toPair New equipment.Alexa will search for the equipment you want to connect.
you could now stream music from this rig over Bluetooth through your Echo Dot’s speaker.
By doing so, your Echo Dot will play music from the connected gadget.
After you see an orange light on your Echo Dot, tapContinue.
Navigate to your smartphone’s Wi-Fi parameters, then find and connect to the Amazon web connection.
Back in the Alexa app, tapContinue, select your Wi-Fi web connection, and tapConnect.
There’s no dedicated power button that willturn off an Echo Dot.
Unplug the unit to power it off completely.
If you’d like to mute the Echo Dot, press themute buttonto turn off the unit’s microphone.
The Echo Dot will keep flashing green until you end the call.
To end a call, say,Alexa, end call.
