How to Update Minecraft
Insert theMinecraftdisc (if you have one) and start the app.
Once you’re on the game’s main menu, the update should automatically begin downloading.
Depending on the size of the update, it could take a few minutes to completely download and install.

Clear Your System Cache
Press theGuide(big middle) button on your controller.
Go toSettingsand selectSystem controls.
SelectStorage(orMemory).

Pick a storage unit and pressY(unit Options) on the controller.
It doesn’t matter which storage machine you pick.
The cache will clear on all storage devices.

SelectYeswhen prompted to confirm.
If you bought a digital copy, you’ll have to re-download it as well.
Deleting the game will also delete your saved game information.

If you have a Game Pass subscription, you’re free to also upload it to cloud storage.
From theXbox Dashboard, go toSettings>System.
SelectStorage, then selectMemory Unit(the hard drive or cloud drive with the game on it).

Find and selectMinecraft,then pressYforGame Options.
If you have a disc, insert it and implement the game again.
If you own a digital copy, re-download it and install it.

Copy the saved game info from wherever you stored it.
Start the game and download the update again when prompted to do so.
Plug one end of a data pipe cable into the back of your console.

Plug the other end into your modem.
Sign in to theXbox networkand start the game.
Choose to download the update.

Contact your router’s manufacturer to get help fixing the issue.
