The fastest way to access these prefs is directly from the taskbar.

Click an empty spot on the taskbar.

Here, it’s possible for you to control which buttons appear on the taskbar.

Turn off the toggle switch next toCopilot in Windows.

Return to the desktop.

You should no longer see the Copilot button on your taskbar.

Can You Disable Microsoft Copilot in Windows?

Once you apply these methods, Copilot won’t reappear when you use the keyboard shortcut.

Label the key asWindowsCopilot.

Right-tap the newWindowsCopilotkey, and then selectNew>DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Double-click theTurnOffWindowsCopilotoption and type1in the Value Data text field.
