Another option is to follow the prefs app method.
Get started by navigating toApps & features.

Select theStartbutton then go toSettings.
UnderWindows tweaks, selectApps.
UnderApps & features, scroll down to find the app you want to uninstall.

choose the app, and then selectUninstall.
Confirm removal by selectingUninstallagain.
Press theWindows Keyor selectStarton the lower left-hand corner to open theStart Screen.

Locate the app you want to uninstall and right-tap the app icon and selectUninstall.
ThePrograms and Featurescontrol panel applet will open.
verify the correct app is selected.

SelectUninstall/Changeand follow the uninstall wizard to complete removal.
Right-choose the context menu and selectPrograms and Features.
Windows 7
