From theApple Menu, go toSystem configs…
In System tweaks… chooseDesktop & Dock.
Scroll down to the bottom of Desktop & Dock and select theHot Cornersbutton.
poke the menu selection that hasQuick Notelisted.
With the Hot Corners menu open, click theas the Hot Corners option.
Once you see the in the menu, clickDoneto save the setting.
Turn Off Quick Note in macOS 12 and Earlier
fire up the Apple menu and selectSystem Preferences.
SelectDesktop & Screen Saver.
you could also access Hot Corners through theMission Controlmenu.
Click theScreen Savertab and select theHot Corners…button in the bottom-right corner.
Select theQuick Notehot corner (it should be the bottom-right corner).
From the dropdown menu, selectBlank ().
Alternatively, it’s possible for you to select a different option to change the hot corners functionality.
Disabling the Quick Note hot corner wont deactivate the feature.
you’ve got the option to still access it by pressingFn + Qon your keyboard.
Navigate toHot Corners…inSystem Preferences/options.
You should now see the corresponding modifier key symbol next to the hot corner action.
To disable a modifier key, tap the hot corner dropdown menu and tap the corresponding modifier key.
However, macOS will let youassign one of nine additional actions to hot corners.
Your note will be saved automatically when you close it.
When you make a new quick note, it’s automatically saved in yourNotes appin the Quick Notes folder.
On your iPad or Mac, fire up the Notes app and go toFolders>Quick Notes.
