It’s easy to turn the Memories feature off.

Here’s how:

Open Facebook and selectMemoriesfrom the menu bar on the left.

You have three options for how often Facebook notifies you of Memories.

In Facebook, select Memories from the left menu

Here’s how:

SelectHidePeopleif you want to block memories involving specific people on Facebook.

SelectHide Datesif you would like to hide Memories related to a specific date or event.

SelectAdd New Date Range, then input a start and end date to complete the action.

Select Notifications

SelectDelete postto permanently delete it.

Choose your memory notification option

Select Hide People if you want to block memories involving specific people

Select Hide Dates if you would like to hide Memories related to a specific date or event.

Select Turn off notifications for this post to prevent Memories
