Here’s where to find them.
Open theStartmenu, either by clicking its icon on the desktop or pressingStarton your keyboard.
ClickPower & Sleepin the left pane.

ChooseAdditional Power Settingson the right side of the screen.
Click eitherChoose what the power button doesorChoose what closing the lid does.
Both options go to the same screen.

To turn on hibernate, select it from one of the four menus.
ClickSave Changesat the bottom of the screen.
Now, you’re free to put your machine into hibernation by performing the action you chose.

In theStartmenu, selectSettings.
Go toAdditional Power configs.
SelectChoose what the power button doesorChoose what closing the lid does.

They both pop swing open the same window.
ClickChange parameters that are currently unavailable.
Additional choices underShutdown settingswill become available.

hit the box next toHibernate.
Now, when you open theStartmenu and click thePowerbutton, you’ll see an additionalHibernateoption along with the others.
What’s the Difference Between Hibernate and Sleep?

Hibernate and sleep are lower-power modesthat keep your laptop’s battery when you’re not using it.
However, Hibernate turns off even more of a computer’s functions to preserve as much energy as possible.
