Are you driving to your destination?

In either case, check that to write down both the Wi-Fi connection name and password.
Tell your Alexa the address where you will be staying.

TapEcho & Alexa>your echo rig>rig Location.
Then type your new address, and tapSave.
Tell Alexa the local time zone.
Until you tell it otherwise, Alexa will assume that your time zone hasn’t changed.
To fix this, you’ll want to temporarily switch Alexa to the time zone that you’re visiting.

TapEcho & Alexa>your echo gadget>Time Zone.
Then select your new time zone, and tapChange.
Consider temporarily re-configuring your flash briefing.
Flash briefing is a feature that allows Alexa to provide you with a brief rundown of the current news.
it’s possible for you to reconfigure your flash briefing by navigating toSettings>Flash Briefing.
Add useful vacation and tourism skills.
To install useful skills, pop launch the Alexa app on your phone and pop launch the main menu.
Other apps, likeUber,Lyft, and OpenTable can also make it easier to explore your new surroundings.
Lock down voice purchasing.
Then toggle voice purchasingoff.
Change your equipment’s wake word.
Switching to one of these options may help keep out unauthorized users.
Disable your equipment’s microphone when you leave the room.
This is another less than perfect way to prevent unauthorized access to your Alexa.
To turn off the microphone, simply push themicrophoneormicrophone/camera buttonon your gear.
To turn it back on later, push the same button again.
Alternatively, you may want to temporarily disableuseful Alexa skillsthat allow your equipment to access sensitive information.
