Theres no reason to take any chances though, as checking this is fast and easy.
Check theContactstoggle, and tap it if it isn’t already on.
If its already on, you dont need to do anything.

Log into the same Gmail address on your Android phone, and your contacts will import automatically.
go for the Google account you will use with your new phone.
If you aren’t already logged into Google on your iPhone, you’ll need to sign in first.

Tap themenuicon (three horizontal lines).
TapContacts, and double-check the toggle is turned on.
Tap thebackicon in the Contacts popup.

TapOKfor each item that you want to back up.
check that to tap OK when the app asks for access to your contacts.
The other ones are optional depending on what you want to back up.

If you select DON’T ALLOW, Drive won’t be able to back up that item.
When the backup is complete, youre done.
Tap theContactstoggle to turn it on.

If the toggle is already on, dont tap it.
On your Android phone, navigate toiCloud.comand sign in.
Tap thethree dotsicon in Chrome.

On the iCloud site, tapContacts.
Your contacts will be available as soon as the import process finishes.
Select a method to share the contact, i.e.Mail.

Enter the email address you use with your Android phone, and tapsend.
bring up the email on your Android phone, and tap theattachment.
The contact will be imported to your account.

Alternatively, use the Android File Transfer app.
The easiest way to get this is to use the Google Photos app on your iPhone.
