Instructions apply to both the app and web versions of the chatbot.
Here’s how to use it.
In the desktop app, snag the search bar in the top-left of the window.

jot down in the chat, or contents of the chat you’re looking for.
opt for chat that you were looking for from the list of suggestions.
If you don’t find it, try refining your search query by using fewer words.
Using this extension does grant it access to all of your previous ChatGPT conversations.
Only install it if you’re willing to share that information with third parties without oversight.

Navigate to theChatGPT web serviceand sign on if necessary.
go for the new, small magnifying glass search icon in the interface.
Alternatively, pressCtrl/Command+Shift+Pon your keyboard.

key in in your search query and pressEnter.
Wait for your previous search history to synchronize with the search tool.

Select a search result to jump to its spot in the chat.
To do so, open a surfing app window and navigate to the ChatGPT site.
PressCtrl+Fon Windows, orCommand+Fon macOS.
jot down in your search query, and it will appear highlighted on the screen.
