This works only if a particular setting is enabled on your phone.

It should be turned on by default.

Here’s how to check:

Go toSettings>Advanced features.

Tap to enablePalm swipe to capture.

Navigate to the screen you want to screenshot and then remove your S Pen from its dock.

In the Air Command menu that appears, tapScreen Write.

Then, selectScreen write.

If desired, you might use your S Pen to write on the screenshot you just captured.

Press theSide keyand theVolume downkey at the same time to capture a screenshot.

The screen will flash briefly and the screenshot will be saved to the Gallery.
