After naming your island and selecting a layout, youll arrive with two villagers.
Although your initial villagers are randomized, their personalities are pre-determined.
Youll also be able to check which pop in of fruit your island produces.
Every island has one of five native fruits: apples, pears, peaches, cherries, or oranges.
Here’s how:
Press theHome buttonon your Nintendo Switch.
Highlight the Animal Crossing game and press theXon the controller.
SelectCloseto terminate the software.
While its essential to pick an island layout that you like, you wont be stuck with it forever.
Once you reach a certain point in the game, youll unlock the Island Designer app.
It will allow you to terraform your island and arrange it however you see fit.
Scroll down toDelete Save Data.
Locate your Animal Crossing: New Horizons save data and selectDelete All Save Data for This Software.
Confirm by selectingDelete Save Data.
Once youve deleted the save file, launch Animal Crossing again and youll be able to start over entirely.
Youll lose not just your character but all of the items youve collected.
