Enhanced remotes have either a single pairing button or a pairing button with an indicator light.

Here are the steps to re-pair your Roku Enhanced Remote.

Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the remote and remove the batteries.

Remove the power cable from your Roku receiver.

Wait 5 seconds and then reconnect the power cable.

Reinsert the batteries in the remote when the Roku receiver displays the home screen.

Locate the pairing button on the bottom of the remote.

Older remotes do not have the indicator light.

If the light doesn’t flash, repeat this step.

If it still doesn’t flash, replace the batteries in the remote.

Wait approximately 30 seconds for the remote to establish a connection with the Roku receiver.

A remote pairing dialog appears on the TV screen when a successful pairing occurs.
