Right-poke the desktop and selectPersonalize.
In Windows 11 and Windows 10, open parameters (WIN+i) and thenPersonalization>Themes.
In Windows 11 & 10, selectDesktop icon settingsfrom theRelated settingsarea.

In Windows 8, 7 & Vista, chooseChange desktop icons.
Uncheck the box next toRecycle Bin, and then selectOKto save.

Use this time toback up the registry.
SelectYeson the confirmation box about deleting the key.
If it doesn’t,reboot your setup.

This is because there isn’t an option within Windows to completely delete it.
It also doesn’t affect your ability torecover files already emptied from the Recycle Bin.
Here’s what to do:
Right-hit the Recycle Bin icon and choosePropertiesfrom the menu.

If you see multiple locations in the list, choose the Recycle Bin location you want to edit.
SelectDon’t move files to the Recycle Bin.
Remove files immediately when deleted.

Except instead of unchecking the box next to Recycle Bin, check it to turn it on.
ensure the Taskbar is unlocked, then right-click theTaskbarand selectToolbars>New Toolbar.
Hide text and titles, set icons to Large, thenclick-and-dragtheRecycle Bindirectly to theTaskbar.
In Windows 10 and 11, select theRecycle Bin Toolstab in the top bar of the Recycle Bin.
Then selectRecycle Bin propertiesand choose how much space you want to allocate for each hard drive on your PC.
