go for the message that contains the attachment.
Select thedown arrownext to the attachment.

Before deleting, considersaving the important attachmentselsewhere, like on your setup or a cloud storage service.
SelectRemove Attachmentfrom the confirmation prompt.
A few older versions of Outlook work differently.

Right-hit the attachment from theAttachedsection near the top of the message, then clickRemove.
Double-hit the email to open it in its own window.
Find theMovegroup in the menu and navigate toActions>Edit message.

go for the attachment and then press theDeletekey.
Maybe you changed your mind afterattaching the fileand so you should probably replace it.
Locate the attachment below the Subject line.
Select thedown arrowto see your options.
ChooseRemove Attachmentto discard it.
This does not remove the file from your rig, just from the email.
