Open theFind iPhoneapp from another iOS machine such as an iPad or from a computer’s web surfing app.
Visit theiCloud.com websiteand enter to your iCloud account.
SelectAll Devices, then choose the unit you want to erase.
SelectTouch ID & PasscodeorFace ID & Passcodeif your iPhone uses Face ID authentication.
slide in your passcode if prompted.
If you do not have a passcode enabled, turn this on first by selectingTurn Passcode On.
Set a passcode of your choice and confirm it.
Consider setting astronger passcodethan the default 4-digit one for extra security.
Move theErase Datatoggle switch toOn/green.
Read the warning and tapEnable.
Your phone is now set to automatically erase all of its data after 10 failed passcode entry attempts.
