Here’s how to do it on an iPhone running iOS 11 and later.
Tap thePhoneapp to open it.
In theVoicemailscreen, tapGreeting.
In theGreetingscreen, tapCustom.This is where you’ll record your voicemail greeting and stop using the default voicemail greeting.
When you’re done recording the voicemail greeting, tapStop.
To listen to the greeting you just recorded, tapPlay.
If you aren’t happy with the results, tapRecordagain and record a new greeting.
When you’re happy with the greeting and want to use it, tapSave.

The next time you want to change the voicemail greeting on your iPhone, stick to this again.
Your custom greeting is saved, so it’s possible for you to select it again.
