Go toMailandthen tapSwipe Options.
Tap theHomebutton to return to the home screen.
However, trashing an email sends it to the Trash folder.
Go toSettings>Mail>Accountsand choose the account for which you’d like to enable swipe-to-delete.
UnderMove Discarded Messages Into, selectDeleted Mailbox.
Now you’re able to delete messages by swiping from right to left and tapping theTrashicon.
However, this only works if theemail settingshave been set to show previews.
You’ll find this option inSettings>Mail>Preview.
