How to Play CDs on Your Xbox Series X
Do you still have CDs?
One of the simplest ways to play them on your Xbox Series X is to use Groove Music.
Previously a music streaming service, the app is now a great way to play audio CDs.
Here’s how to do so.
Only the Xbox Series X has a physical disc drive.
The Xbox Series S can’t play audio CDs due to its lack of disc drive.
Install Groove Music from the Microsoft Store.
Put the audio CD into your Xbox Series X’s disc drive.
The audio CD should play automatically.
If it doesn’t, launch the Groove Music app and clickPlay All.
Album artwork should also be retrieved automatically.
Here’s what to do.
Start playing Spotify through the above method.
Tap the glowing middle button of your Xbox Series X or S controller.
Scroll down and clickMy Games & Apps.
Find the game you want to play and press A to open it.
The song will now continue to play while you play a game.
