Because of this, rearranging Word docs can be complicated.

One of the easier ways to move pages in Word is by using theNavigation pane.

pop fire up Microsoft Word document you want to rearrange.

At the top of the first page, create a hard return by pressingEnteron the keyboard.

key in the information you want to use to indicate each page in the document.

In this example, that information isPage [number].

Next, choose the text and clickHome.

In theStylesselector, selectHeading 1.

From theInsertribbon selectPage Break.

This creates a clean page that can be easily moved from the Navigation pane.

Repeat that process for each page in your document.

If it’s not already open, you’ll need to fire up the Navigation pane in your document.

To do that clickView.

On theViewribbon, verify there is a tick in the box next toNavigation Pane.

If there is not, choose the option to select it.

There, you’ve got the option to click and drag any of the headings that are shown.

You’ll also see the headings in theNavigation Panein the new order.

you might then click and drag the headings and only the text under that heading will be moved.
