How to Connect and Mirror Android to TV
Here’s an example on my Samsung TV.
Go toSettingson your phone, TV, or bridge equipment (media streamer).
Enable screen mirroring on the phone and TV.

In this example, the term used by the TV isWi-Fi Direct.
Look for this in the controls, probably in the section calledNetworkor something similar.
These steps are specific to Samsung devices.
Your phone or TV might use terms such as Screen Mirroring, Wireless Display, or Display Mirroring.
Search for the TV or bridge gadget.
It may also be on a list of devices.
In the TV screen mirroring menu, snag the Android gadget.
Once your devices find and recognize each other, start the connection process.
You might need to selectAcceptor enter the PIN displayed on the TV.
The Android screen displays on the TV screen after the “connect” procedure is finished.
This means it’s possible for you to continue using your gadget to navigate the menu and apps.
Screen Mirroring vs.
Casting
Another way to view content from an Android gadget on TV is through casting.
Screen Mirroring and Casting are similar, but there are differences.
Tap it, then select your TV from the list to cast that app’s contents to the TV.
Not affected by poor data pipe connectivity, as no connection is needed.
Wirelessly display a business or classroom presentation saved on your Android equipment on a very large screen.
While content is mirrored, tapping another icon or app will interrupt what’s on the TV.
Can’t mirror an Android phone or tablet to an Apple TV without installation of an additional app.
Media streamers that support screen mirroring for Android include Roku, Amazon Fire TV, andChromecast.
Apple TV does not support screen mirroring for Android natively.
Screen Mirroring displays everything on an Android screen including email, incoming text messages, and app notifications.
Select your Roku TV or Roku unit to begin casting.
If you don’t have a Wi-Fi connection, try using a direct USB-to-HDMI cable.
