There’s a speedy way to do this.
For earlier versions, such as Mozilla Thunderbird 2 and earlier or Netscape 3 and earlier, useCtrl+Shift+C.
Alternatively, select all of the emails, right-click, and chooseMark>as Read.
Select any message in the folder.
Right-click and selectMark.Alternatively, chooseMessagefrom the top menu and selectMark.
SelectMark Read by Date.
Enter the range of dates for messages to mark as read.
Select a message in the thread.
Right-click and selectMark, or selectMarkfrom theMessagemenu at the top.
SelectMark Thread as Read.
Also, the green ball in theSort by Readcolumn changes to a gray dot.
To change a range of messages to unread, highlight the range and then right-click, selectMarkandAs Unread.
you’re able to also use the top Message menu, chooseMark>As Unread.
