Here’s how to modify thesesettingsin the popular desktop and mobile browsers.
In the drop-down menu, selectSettings.
In the ChromeSettings, selectSite prefs.

In theSite Settingsscreen, scroll down and selectNotifications.
Next, tapNotificationsand select eitherAlloworBlock.
In the drop-down menu, selectSettings.

Or, go to the Chrome address bar and enterchrome://configs.
In the ChromeSettingsscreen, scroll down and selectAdvanced.
In thePrivacy and securitysection, selectContent options.

In the ChromeContent settingsscreen, scroll down and selectNotifications.
This is the default and recommended setting.
Below that are two sections:BlockandAllow.

Use these to affect push notifications from certain sites.
Push notifications are not sent while browsing inIncognito Mode.
In the FirefoxPreferencesscreen, selectPrivacy & Security, located in the left menu pane.

Scroll down to thePermissionssection and, to the right ofNotifications, selectSettings.
Use the drop-down menu in theStatuscolumn to eitherAlloworBlocka site.
Firefox provides the ability to block notifications altogether, including related permission requests.

To disable this function, select theBlock new requests asking to allow notificationscheck box.
SelectSave Changesto make your options permanent.
You may need to restart Firefox for the new options to take effect.

The icon is three horizontal dots.
Scroll down to theAdvanced settingssection and selectView advanced options.
In theWebsite permissionssection, and selectManage.

You’ll see a list of websites that you granted special permissions to.
Under that site, turn the toggle switchOnorOff.
SelectClear permissions(below the switch) to remove all permissions granted to a site.

In the OperaSettingsscreen, scroll down and selectAdvanced.
Move the toggle switch to flip betweenAsk before sendingandBlock.
The one you choose is Opera’s default behavior for a site that supports push notifications.

Use theBlockandAllowlists to manually add sites to tell Opera to always either block or allow certain websites.
Safari
To manage push notification in Safari on Mac OS X:
From theSafarimenu, selectPreferences.
The keyboard shortcut isCommand+,(comma).

SelectWebsites, located along the top row.
In the left pane, selectNotifications.
By default,Allow websites to ask for permission to send push notificationsis enabled.

These sites are stored and listed on this screen, along with the level of permission you granted.
Accompanying each site are two choices,AlloworDeny.
pick the desired option for each site, or leave it as is.
