Clear Browsing History and Other Private Data

Open theSettingsapp, located on the iPhone home screen.

Scroll down and selectSafari.

Scroll to the bottom and selectClear History and Website Data.

If the link is blue, it means Safari stored browsing history and other data on the rig.

If the link is gray, there are no records or files to delete.

This action also deletes cache, cookies, and other browsing-related data from the iPhone.

Block All Cookies

Scroll down to thePrivacy & Securitysection and turn on theBlock All Cookiestoggle switch.

Deleting website data on an iPhone

Scroll down and selectSafari, then scroll to the bottom and selectAdvanced>Website Data.

SelectEditin the upper-right corner.

Alternatively, tapRemove All Website Dataat the bottom.

Select thered dashicon next to the websites whose data you would like to delete, then selectDelete.

Repeat this process until you are satisfied.

When you are finished, selectDone.

To open a new non-private tab, hold down theSafariicon, then tapNew Tab.

To recover browsing history via iCloud, sign in to your iCloud account and tapSettings>Restore Bookmark.
